Hot Lunches

Provided at an optional cost, or pack your lunch for picky eaters! We provide morning and afternoon snacks and juice. Being a state-licensed facility, the state asks that juice be served at snack, and milk be served at lunch.

Include 2 synthetic surfaces and an open field for sports and water play.

Computer Lab

Equipped with laptops offering educational, hands-on experiences during summer camps. We also have iPads and Nooks to enhance educational units.

Offered to and from afterschool only and field trips

We have a fob system with a camera that will let you open our door

Video Cameras

Video cameras are in every classroom which can be seen from the Director’s office.

Hours of Operation

We open at 7:00 AM, and close promptly at 6:00 PM. 7:00 – 7:30 AM is considered early drop off, and children are combined in the Multi-Purpose Room until 7:30 AM. For a child’s well-being, we ask that you do not leave your child at school for more than 10 hours a day. Long days away from home are difficult for young children, and behaviors change in the afternoons when they become tired or ready for their home environment.

Licensure

Brookhaven has a State Facility License and a Non-Public/Private School License through the NC Division of Child Development, and the State of North Carolina. State officials inspect our programs and our facility, unlike public, church, or even private schools such as Greensboro Day School or Caldwell, due to the preschool aged children at our facility that come more than four hours per day. We must keep the state abreast of our staff’s continuing education, and we have sanitation and compliance codes to abide by.
